Humboldt’s Friday Fishing Report 10/14/2016
Eureka – Runs to the Cape this week have been very productive with reports of some nice sized Lingcod, and a hot Vermillion bite. The oceans are expected to be washed out through Tuesday.
Trinidad – Fishing remains mediocre out of Trinidad with some decent fish being caught, but not many of them. The ocean conditions have been less than ideal over the past couple days and are only expected to get worse until early next week.
Klamath – The mouth is finally open for a sustained period of time, allowing large groups of Salmon to make their run up the river. The water is too big and murky to fish but should be good once the water levels drop again.
Trinity – The Salmon and Steelhead who have been holed up waiting for rain have finally got their opportunity. This large rainstorm has washed out the rivers but is allowing the fish to make their runs farther up the river. The weather should clear Wednesday-Sunday, giving anglers a good shot.
