Humboldt’s Friday Fishing Report 11/4/2016


Reports

Oceans:

Dungenesse Crab – Dungenesse crab opener kicks off Saturday and continues until July 30th.

Rivers:

Smith – The Smith has been spitting out some monster King Salmon over the past week. The flows dropped to a manageable level today and should be fishable through the weekend.

Mad River – The fishing was good today with the majority of fish being caught with shrimp and marshmallow. There are quite a few hatchery fish being caught throughout the Mad river system.

Eel River/South Fork – The fishing has been hot along the South Fork today with reports of large Steelhead being caught. Plugs and bait have been the ticket.
