Humboldt’s Friday Fishing Report 1/22/2016

Reports

Salmon/Steelhead

Smith – The Smith currently has the best fishing conditions and thus the best bet in Humboldt County. Although the water is high, there are still plenty of fish around and anglers have had success side drifting.

Trinity – The majority of the Trinity river is too high and muddy to fish but the upper portion of the river presents the clearest waters and the best shot for landing Steelhead.

Eel/South Fork -The Eel river and the South Fork are still blown out and should remain so until next week.

Mad – The Mad river is still very high and muddy and is not expected to clear until next week.
