Humboldt’s Friday Fishing Report 1/29/2016

Reports

Salmon/Steelhead

Smith – The Smith fished great this past week with lots of nice fresh Steelhead. With the current storm moving through the Smith is expected to rise to un-fishable levels but should be the first river to clear next week.

Trinity – The majority of the Trinity river is still too high and muddy to fish. Fishing above the North Fork has provided anglers with the best water conditions and best shot at landing a Steelhead on the Trinity.

Eel/South Fork -The Eel river and the South Fork are still blown out and should remain so until next week.

Mad – The Mad river is still very high and muddy and is not expected to turn green in the near future. Liners have been successful when the water levels have dropped.
